Machine Operators Required

Opportunities are available for experienced Line / Machine Operator to join our team in Stapylton, QLD. To be successful, you will need to have previous experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment, be mechanically minded, and have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

**About the Role**

Opportunities are available for experienced Line/Machine Operator to join our team in Stapylton, QLD. To be successful, you will need to have previous experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment, be mechanically minded, and have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

These positions are full-time with all leave accruals, working 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday, rotating fortnightly between Day, Afternoon and Night shifts.

**About you**:

- A minimum of 3 years industry experience within a FMCG environment
- A current Forklift Licence
- Strong focus and awareness of workplace health and safety
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to trouble shoot production line issues
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills
- Understand HACCP, GMP and hygiene processes in the food/beverage industry an advantage
- Krones/Kosme Production lines (including Blowmoulders, Fillers, Labellers, Packers and Palletizer) experience advantageous.
- Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence

**Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Operating beverage filling/processing equipment to achieve daily production schedule
- Maintaining and running machines to the highest effectiveness with the lowest cost
- Maintaining packaging raw materials and film supply to the machine
- Troubleshooting minor production line issues or escalating to the Maintenance Team
- Accurately completing and updating information in the Production Downtime Management System
- Participate in line change overs and minor preventative maintenance activities
- Ensuring product quality is maintained by complying with company controlled SOP's and ensuring cleaning and sanitation schedules are met
- Accurately and legibly filling out hourly inspection sheets based on overall production quality, reporting and recording all quality defects
- Follow the instructions of the Production Supervisor to ensure the finished product is safely and efficiently stored in the warehouse
- Maintain operational equipment including forklifts in a safe and clean state
- Ensure HACCP and GMP requirements are met throughout the production process. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required. Maintain general housekeeping in all areas of the production area.
