Provisional Fellow in Obstetric Anaesthesia

**Your new Role**:
Logan Hospital is a busy major hospital serving a rapidly growing area. The provisional fellow will work under supervision to provide high-quality anaesthesia for diverse surgical procedures, including paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology, ENT, orthopaedics, dental, colorectal, general surgery, maxillofacial, regional anaesthesia, and perioperative medicine. Opportunities to focus on specific interests can be arranged. The role also involves participation in clinical support activities like medical education, Q\&A sessions, research, and audits. By the end of the fellowship, the fellow is expected to be a competent, confident, and well-rounded general anaesthetist.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
