Electrical Engineering Technician

We are electrical contractors based in Forestdale WA.
We advise on costings, installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems for business and individual customers. We need an experienced full-time electrical engineering technician intending to secure long-term employment with us.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist our electrical engineer in the preparation of roof layout drawings and plans for electrical and solar PV system.
- Assist our engineers and electricians in site inspections, design, installation, testing and commissioning of solar PV system.
- Estimate the cost of the materials, tools, electrical gears for each installation project and prepare quotes for the engineer’s approval.
- Prepare commissioning reports and system manuals by collecting test data.
- Assist in checking installed Solar PV systems to meet compliance standards.
- Assisting the electrical engineer in developing more efficient electrical designs and installation systems.
- Liaising with clients in order to respond to technical queries.
- Be a team player and have long-term intention to work with us.
**Skills and Experience**
- Preferably an Australian Diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Has worked for at least 3 years in related field
Pay: $73,150.00 - $80,000.00 per year
