**About the role**:
As an experienced Test Manager within the Enterprise Delivery team, you will work across two complex programs - one focusing on document migration from one core system to another and the other within digital. These are both significant programs of work and requires a Test Manager who is able to easily move between the two, with exemplary stakeholder engagement skills.

You will manage end to end releases, functional and non-functional testing, test environment co-ordination supported by the Environment Manager as applicable, testing tooling, resourcing and test automation approaches.

The Test Manager supervises, directs and co-ordinates the activities of Engineering Test Leads, DET Test Managers/Leads and BAT Test Leads. It is essential that you have exceptional communication skills and a background in Insurance (preferred) or Financial Services.

This is a fantastic 12-month fixed term opportunity to really showcase your experience and make your mark.

**What you’ll do**:

- Managing the entire release end to end; managing the Test team
- Advocate the Tribe stakeholders on Test frameworks, emphasizing the importance of testing in delivering high-quality products and services.
- Create and implement comprehensive test strategies that outline the testing objectives, scope, resource plan, RACI’s, defect management processes and schedules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define test environment governance process, test data, and non-production environment availability, considering different testing types (e.g., functional, regression, non-functional, production verification testing).
- Support automation requests by securing funding/approval from the Tribe/program and work closely with the Engineering Chapter for resources to support the automation.
- Maintain thorough documentation of test strategy, test plans, test cases, test results, requirement traceability matrix and other testing artefacts.
- Co-ordinate, coach and support team members in all aspects of the BAT Framework including BAT, Production Verification Testing (PVT), Business Regression Testing (BRT) & Disaster Recovery (DR).

**What you will bring**:
**Essential**:

- Minimum 5 years Insurance Industry experience (would consider Financial Services)
- 2- 8 years of previous Test Management, experience managing a team of testers in large scale complex project settings with a Customer Communication Management (CCM) background (SmartCOMMS and/or Scriptura also considered)
- 2 + years working in an Agile environment
- **Advanced stakeholder engagement skills** (at senior level) combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work in a flexible environment and be adaptable to change
- Experienced with Jira workflow
- Experienced in running defect triages.
- Data knowledge
- Certifications:

- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Certification (CTFL) - mandatory
- Agile Fundamentals - ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) or similar - mandatory

- Defects lower level analysis
- Technically capable to understand other systems
- ETL experience
