Anala is seeking a full-time Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the team.

**Anala**

Anala offers a high standard of supports for people living with complex care needs such as disabilities, mental health and trauma. Our programs and services are designed to ensure each and every client is supported to reach their goals and live their best life in a person centred approach.

**The role**

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will provide professional information and strategies to people with disability, families, staff and their networks regarding evidence-based approaches to reducing the impact of challenging behaviour and participants can assimilate into community.

**Duties**
- Undertake functional behavioural assessments for participants
- Develop Behaviour Intervention Support (BIS) Plans
- Implement and train the participants family and their networks of the identified strategies
- Identify and implement restrictive practices, following the governance surrounding this practice
- Working with people with disabilities and/or complex diagnoses

**Qualifications/licences**
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (eg Psychology, Social Work)
- Working with Children Check
- Current Driver’s Licence, car insurance and Vehicle
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module and New Worker - Induction Module

**Selection Criteria**

- Understanding of the NDIS
- Knowledge of and commitment to person centered practices
- Formal qualifications relevant to the role
- Knowledge and skills specific to working with complex clients or challenging behaviours
- Demonstrated experience of implementing strategies for positive outcomes
- Strong organisational skills
- Affiliation with peak bodies/NDIA registration/registrations.

**Salary**: $77,577.00 - $88,760.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- No weekends

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Campbelltown, NSW 2560
