Western Health is seeking an early career allied health researcher. This role provides translation and research support to allied health at Western Health. Capacity building across all areas of the workforce is a key focus, along with enabling multi-disciplinary and cross sectoral projects. This role is part of the Victorian Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation Program.

The Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation program is a Department of Health funded initiative focusing on enhanced research, education, and leadership capacity for allied health professionals. The program is focused on improving the delivery of allied health services through generating and translating favourable research evidence to clinical practice.

**T**op 3 priorities for this position are:

- Implementation of research into practice and translation of new innovations that optimise patient outcomes and recovery
- Care pathways that solve the issues faced by people with complex care needs, multi-morbidities and increased risk.
- Improving access and outcomes for patients from culturally and linguistically diverse communities

The role is part time fixed term for 2 years
