Are you passionate about customer service? Would you like to work in a colourful & inspiring workplace? Our Taubmans Trade Centre in Browns Plains is seeking a dedicated & dynamic Sales Assistant to join the team on a full timet time basis. You will enjoy working in this busy store and love the flexible hours No previous paint or hardware knowledge is expected, as full product training will be provided on the job. What we are searching for is someone who is passionate about customer service and is looking to broaden their career.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding customer service as well as establishing relationships with our strong customer base.
- Collaborating with the Store Manager, Store team & Trade team to improve sales potential within the store
- You can work in a fast paced environment that sees you change direction frequently throughout the day
- Merchandise and replenish stock in a timely manner and ensuring it is presented well

**Qualifications**
- Previous retail assistant experience with the desire to provide excellent customer service to our growing customer base. You won't be afraid to be hands on daily in the store
- A strong interest to learn new skills as well as an invested interest to build your knowledge and expertise on our products
- You will also be an outstanding teammate who has the ability to cope with our fast paced and changing environment
- A keen eye for detail, taking pride in the presentation of your store - run it like you own it
- The store is open from 6:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday and Saturday 7am
- 12pm

- You will be comfortable with manual handling as part of your normal day. For example - lifting heavy paint tins (up to 32kgs), pushing and pulling trolleys, standing for long periods, kneeling etc
- You will also have a valid drivers' license to assist with store deliveries

**About us**:
This position is an important part of PPG’s Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) Architectural Team. The ANZ Architectural team is responsible for iconic products and brands like Taubmans, White Knight, Johnstone’s and Bristol. We manufacture and supply high quality paint products locally to DIY and professional painters, whilst being backed and supported by the global expertise within PPG.
