**Role Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Management Accountant who is passionate on financial management, business improvement, and transformation. You will oversee the company’s financial data and will be responsible for providing all transactional finance services to the business including, but not limited to, payroll, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and production of financial reports.
**Responsibilities**:
- Bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial reporting including but not limited to management accounts, annual consolidated financial statements, and annual reports.
- Prepare financial statements including revenue and expenditure, performance to budget/variance and key expenditure tracking.
- Monitor cash flow and cash management.
- Collections management for outstanding invoices and liaising with Plan Managers and the AHS Service Delivery team regarding funding issues.
- Create and maintain participant service bookings on the NDIS portal in line with service agreements.
- Respond to all NDIS claim inquiries.
- Creation and tracking of individual budgets for each participant for the duration of their service agreement.
- Financial leadership in key activities such as feasibility assessments for projects and investments ensuring sound commercial decisions are made.
- Running weekly invoicing and payroll
- Collaborate with Operations to support the development and achievement of business goals.
- Prepare and provide accurate, timely reports to external funding bodies and internal relevant person/s.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years experience in general bookkeeping/accounting
- Excellent numerical, analytical, problem-solving, technical and IT skills.
- Confident professional with strong initiative and business insight
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly.
- Influencing, persuading, coaching and negotiating skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and management software programs, including Xero and Lookout.
- Strong budget development and oversight skills
