**About the role**

Situated at the iconic Parliament House in the heart of the CBD, the _Retail Assistant (Gift Shop)_ delivers an exceptional level of service for the patrons of Parliament's Dining Rooms, retail outlets and during functions and events.

The _Parliament Gift Shop_ stocks a number of branded items with the Parliament Crest and also a large variety of gifts which are Australian Made from Australian Owned businesses. There is also a selection of products which are made in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Manager, Catering and Retail Operations, this role (referred to internally as Customer Service Officer) sits within a tight-knit, professional team who share a passion and commitment for showcasing locally grown produce while offering a quality, customer-centric experience to all guests of Parliament House.
