**About the opportunity**

We have a brand-new 12-month fixed term role within our Cyber Security Architecture & Consulting for a Third-Party Security Manager who will lead a team of experienced security professionals and will oversee the development, maintenance and enforcement of Bupa’s security policies and procedures related to the management of our third-party vendors. The role will engage with a diverse range of business and technology stakeholders in performing Third-Party Security Risk Assessments in alignment with our standards and regulatory requirements. Once risks have been identified, a summary of findings and recommended treatment plans are provided to both our internal stakeholders and Third parties to mitigate security risk and ensure compliance.

**To be successful in this role you’ll need**:

- 10+ years’ experience in Risk Management with a focus on Security
- Vendor and partner management experience, including professional services and technology vendors
- Strong business and commercial acumen with a focus on the customer and business outcome
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate Information Technology discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge of security and risk frameworks including ISO-27000 series, SABSA, CISSP and NIST
- Experience operating in an APRA and/or PCI regulated industry sector (preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including quality, concise technical documentation, report writing and presentations
- Experience leading and managing a small team
