**The **Opportunity**:
As part of the team you will have a valid forklift licence and work in both the Warehouse and Production departments as required to fill in for staff on leave or as business demands. You will be trained to formulate products, following detailed work instructions and safety requirements. You will be physically fit to be able to undertake heavy manual work in hot and restrictive PPE. The primary raw material is Lead Monoxide which is a dangerous good that requires strict adherence of personal hygiene and maintenance of a clean work environment. The role involves manual handling of heavy raw materials and finished product as well as running an automated bulk bag loading and packing line.

**Responsibilities**:

- Unloading/loading of trucks and Containers for Inwards and Outwards orders.
- Adhere to safe work policies, procedures, and processes.
- Ensure activities are performed in accordance with product formulations and Quality Assurance procedures.
- Accurately assemble, load, mix, sample and pack formulations
- Assemble and organise raw materials to optimize productivity
- Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement
- Maintain a high level of hygiene within the operation
- Be mechanically minded to assist in preventative maintenance
- Work well as part of a small team with good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate time management and organisational skills
- Wrapping, strapping and labelling of all manufactured product.
- Print labels with stock Product description and Stock Codes and label products accordingly.
- Pack and pick product into and from respective shelving up to 6m in height utilising a forklift.
- Assemble orders for Despatch correctly, ready for loading on time, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
- Pick orders for daily manufacturing requirements
- Assistance to other team members as required
- Assist with cleaning including sweeping and use of scrubbing machine etc.
- Will assist in stock counts as required.

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in a warehouse and or production environment with a valid forklift Licence is essential.
- Shifts are Monday to Friday but with occasional Saturday work as well.
- Whilst most movements of stock are done with a forklift the job also requires that you be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 25kg’s with or without assistance.
