**About ELMHS**

Early in Life Mental Health Services (ELMHS) provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, young people and their families. We work with the 0-18 age group in the Southern Region. We provide a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services. We work with families in addressing a number of complex issues that they may be experiencing including school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders, neuro developmental presentations and psychosis.

**About the team**

The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Team offers specialist perinatal and parent-infant mental healthcare. The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Team works alongside other ELMHS and adult mental health clinicians working with expectant mothers, parents and infants, to provide education, consultation, supervision and specialist perinatal and parent-infant mental health assessment and treatments. You will work with a multidisciplinary team led by a Team Manager and consultant psychiatrists. We work collaboratively with families and other agencies to create identified areas for change and work strongly from a relational and systemic framework.

An exciting opportunity for a mental health clinician to join a thriving, engaged team providing clinic-based mental health assessment, formulation and treatment to families in the perinatal period. The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Team supports families where maternal mental illness may impact the relationship with their infant or pregnancy.
