PCYC NSW is seeking a dedicated Programs Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in delivering high-quality programs that align with our mission to empower young people, helping them reach their full potential.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Programs Manager, the Programs Coordinator is responsible for the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of youth programs employability programs at PCYC NSW. You will oversee the coordination of program activities, manage resources effectively, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations. As the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, you will also facilitate communication, manage budgets, and support a team of staff and volunteers in delivering impactful programs.

As part of the Youth Programs and Social Impact team, you will contribute to the overall success of PCYC’s mission by ensuring that our programs are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the needs of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
**Program Planning & Implementation**:

- Coordinate and deliver youth programs, ensuring they meet PCYC’s objectives and timelines.
- Manage resources effectively and mitigate potential risks**.**

**Stakeholder Communication**
- Act as the main contact for program stakeholders, providing updates and gathering feedback.
- Facilitate regular meetings to ensure alignment and progress.

**Team Coordination**
- Lead and support program staff and volunteers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.

**Budget Management**:

- Monitor and manage program budgets, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
- Track expenditures and prepare regular budget reports.

**Compliance & Reporting**:

- Ensure all program activities comply with PCYC policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports on program outcomes**.**

**Problem Solving & Decision Making**:

- Address challenges during program delivery and adapt plans as needed.
- Make informed decisions to keep programs on track and aligned with goals.

**ABOUT US**

Established in 1937, PCYC NSW is a life changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime. We have sixty-six clubs and eighteen OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.

Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs. We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.

**ABOUT YOU**

You are an experienced program coordinator with a strong background in youth development and program management. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead a team make you well-suited for this role. You are passionate about working in the not-for-profit sector and committed to making a positive impact on young people’s lives.

**YOU WILL HAVE**:

- Tertiary qualifications in social science, education, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in program coordination, with a focus on youth development and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong skills in budgeting, financial management, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
