Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician

HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technicians are responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems in commercial properties serviced by BGIS.
As a critical part of the core operations to the business, the Service Technician duties involve direct communication with customers, suppliers and the general community.
Working with the service team, you will be required to:
- Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC equipment such as air conditioners and ventilation systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand mannerWork collaboratively with the wider HVAC team to share knowledge and best practices
What you will need to be successful in this role
- You must be a qualified HVAC technician
- Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen
- Experience providing HVAC services to commercial clients preferred
- Restricted electrical licence
- ARCTICK Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current drivers licence
- Professional presentation and communication skills
- Have or be able to obtain White card and Police check
- Have a “Can Do” attitude and proactive approach with clients and the team.Value working safely every time and keeping others safe.
