Medical Receptionist

Medical Receptionist required for busy General Practice.

Permanent Part-Time.

Available to work across a rotating roster Monday to Friday, 3 to 4 shifts per week, with the occasional Saturday and ability to cover annual leave/sick leave when required.

Applicants MUST be available to work shifts from OPEN (8am start) to CLOSE (5:30/6:00pm finish).

Preference will be given to those with prior Medical Reception experience, but applicants with experience in other administration/office environments will be considered.

Role will include opening and closing the practice, managing all aspects of the front desk including calls, appointment system, billing and triaging patients, general cleaning and stocking of the consultation rooms. Experience with Best Practice software an advantage.

Our practice uses hard copy patient files, so your position will include retrieving and putting away files, and filing results.

As a healthcare worker, you must have received your full course of COVID-19 vaccinations including your booster. A mask is required to be worn at all times in the clinic.
