About the Role The Head of Department - Maths & Science will lead the Junior Secondary team, with the role commencing on Monday 18 August 2025 (Week 6, Term 3). This leadership position requires strong relational and instructional capabilities, a proven ability to drive improvement in Maths and Science, build high-performing teams, and foster positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider community. It's an exciting opportunity to lead STEM education in a rapidly growing, future-focused school. Your Responsibilities As the Head of Department - Mathematics/Science, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead faculty teams in alignment with school priorities and departmental initiatives Develop and embed high-quality teaching and learning practices Support the wellbeing and professional growth of staff Contribute to the broader strategic leadership of the college Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.
