The LMS Administrator is responsible for performing system administration, and interactive content development and upload duties including user management.

You are an integral part of the Product Development team responsible for maintaining the integrity and user-friendliness of our learning platform, as well as contributing to the implementation of LMS upgrade and improvement projects.

Reporting to the Senior Learning Designer, you will work closely with the Academic Manager, SMEs, Trainer Assessors, and Student Services team to meet the requirements of the current system and content upgrade projects.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform system and content administrative duties for the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS), including but not limited to content upload, content update, user enrolment and update (where applicable)
- Create documents, user guides and instructions when required
- Troubleshoot and resolve LMS issues raised by trainers, staff, and students.
- Maintain usage, reporting, and administration of the LMS.
- Populate the assessment tools and templates with content received from the SMEs and the Senior Learning Designer
- Liaise with the LMS Supplier’s team of consultants to escalate system issues and seek resolution on time following the College’s processes and procedures under the supervision of the Senior Learning Designer
- Produce work according to to set deadlines under the supervision of the Senior Learning Designer to meet the project milestones
- Liaise with the student services team on varies LMS related enquiries
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the foundations the learning management systems (ideally Moodle LMS)
- a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience supporting and providing extensive LMS administration support with internal stakeholders including student support, students and Trainers.
- Demonstrated experience in building assessments, courses and interactive learning content (H5P, articulate RISE)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- The ability to prioritise work and multi-task in a project based environment
- A high level of attention to details
- Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Prior experience in using task management tools E.G. Smartsheet

**It will also be highly desirable but not essential to have**:

- Experience and knowledge in the Vocational Education and Training industry and the competency-based training framework and requirements
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or above.
