Zealand. We specialise in online video for the corporate and commercial property
markets. We deliver quality video consistently, cost effectively and at scale for
businesses regularly producing video. We are a small core team with centralised client
services and post production and a wide network of freelance film crew across Australia
& New Zealand. We’re growing fast with systems and processes at the heart of
everything we do. We are fast moving, constantly evolving and focussed on making the
production experience smooth for our customers whilst giving them top notch video
everytime.
Role Overview
This role sits within the Post Production Team, reporting to the Head of Production &
Operations. Editing corporate & commercial property video at an experienced level using
Final Cut Pro is the primary objective of this role. In addition, managing freelance
editors, graphics and motion designers for assigned jobs, helping develop junior editors
and edit assist team members skills, answering technical edit based questions,
troubleshooting edits in production and quality control are important aspects of this
role. You will work closely with counterparts in the Production team to ensure delivery of
video content is on time, on budget and on brief.

**Responsibilities**:
**Include but are not limited to**:
Senior editor using FCPX (corporate and commercial property online video
content)
Motion graphics (reasonable level)
Managing freelance editors and motion designers (project based, when jobs are
outsourced)
Trouble shooting edit jobs in production
Quality control
Support with developing junior editor skills (being a point of contact for edit
related technical questions or issues)
Follow established YourFilm workflows
Work with the Production and Post Production teams to ensure deadlines and
client expectations are met.
Work with the wider YourFilm team to improve workflows and resources to
efficiently and effectively deliver an increasing amount of projects as the
business grows.

**Skills**:Proficient in Final Cut Pro (version 10.x Current use with 5+ years experience)
Comfortable with basic to level Adobe After Effects
Experience in or with video production for corporate companies
Strong sense of creativity
Excellent organisational skills
Fast & efficient approach to work
Open to learning new skills and techniques
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
The ability to work effectively to deadlines
Good common sense and logical thinking
The ability to solve problems as they arise
Committed and flexible attitude to the job
