**Active Discovery is a privately-owned and family run organisation that specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of outdoor recreational products that include a comprehensive range of outdoor play and fitness equipment. The company has a stable, highly motivated and tight knit team who are known for providing creative and innovative solutions for clients who include councils, developers, landscape architects, schools, daycares and shopping centres throughout metro and regional WA. We are currently seeking an Apprentice metal fabricator to join our team.**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES**:

- **Learn of all aspects of fabrication (welding, drilling, steel cutting, steel bending, hardware, reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans, packaging goods for transport)**:

- **Will develop effective organisation skills**:

- **A keen focus on team performance to ensure all sections are working cohesively**:

- **offering practical advice, direction and feedback to the fabrication team**:

- **Work collaboratively with your team to develop and maintain outstanding fabrication outcomes**:

- **Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage safe work practices**:

- **Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks for fabrication team**:

- **Hands on assembly and works as required to ensure timely completion of jobs**:

- **Ensure deadlines are met and provide feedback to management via Progress Reporting**:

- **Quality Control checks, attention to detail and management of non-conformance processes**
