To continue our success, an opportunity is now available for a **Climate Data Analyst** responsible for professionally and efficiently conducting analytical work associated with climate change risk and natural hazard assessments to inform climate resilience and adaptation planning.

**Responsibilities & Tasks**
- Work as part of a cohesive team to successfully deliver various civil and structural engineering services to a wide range of clients, including government and private sectors, such as:

- Planning and design of shoreline protection structures (e.g., rock revetment, groyne)
- Planning and design of small
- to medium-scale recreational boating facilities (including waterside and landside elements)
- Planning and design of beach nourishment
- Design support for large-scale marine and coastal infrastructure for the ports, resources, and renewable energy sectors
- Manage the successful delivery of various marine and coastal engineering projects either individually or as part of a project delivery team, depending on complexity.
- Preparation of proposals, fee estimates and schedules for consulting projects
- Liaise with clients, potential and current, for the purposes of service delivery, networking, and business development.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and supervision for junior engineers and scientists.

**You will have**:

**Essential -**
- Tertiary qualification in a discipline relevant to climate risk or data analytics
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Climate Change and how it impacts communities and business.
- Demonstrated knowledge of multi-hazard climate change risk assessment methods i.e., Python, R.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates initiative and takes a proactive approach to tasks.

***Desirable -**
- Experience working within a multi-site organisation.
- Experience working within the engineering, infrastructure, or resources sector.
- Post-graduate qualifications in a discipline relevant to climate risk or data analytics
- Experience working within the ports, resources, or renewable energy sectors.
