**About the School**
The School of Health and Society is one of seven in the Faculty of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. We are a dynamic, interdisciplinary community of social science scholars of national and international standing who passionately strive to create a positive impact in our communities. We offer a wide range of opportunities for research and study in criminology, public health, social policy, social work and occupational health and safety.
Our students learn to analyse and solve real-world social and health problems through engaging with leading researchers, communities and practitioners on campus, online and in workplaces.Our staff work with policy-makers, practitioners, key stakeholders and the public to co-produce, collaborate and communicate evidence that has a positive and tangible impact on our society.
**About the Role**
You will also play a key role in developing social work research and teaching programs by collaborating on research projects with academic colleagues, community, and industry partners. This includes creating curricula that meet TEQSA and professional accreditation standards, fostering effective partnerships with the community, social work professionals, government and non-government agencies, and facilitating productive collaborations across the university with academic colleagues and research institutes.
