Unite Resourcing is a leading labour hire and recruitment company specialising in the mining, civil and construction industries.
Currently we are seeking Warehouse People to join a warehouse facility in Forrestfield, Perth.
**Key Responsibilities for the role include but not limited to**:
- Using a computerised system to dispatch and manifest consignments.
- Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our facility, including loading of trucks.
- Responsible for organising and controlling stores distribution movements.
- Picking and packing of orders consisting of larger steel parts
- Must be motivated and have a great eye for attention to detail.
- Increasing the efficiency of the day to day running of the stores
- Perform stock checks and report on stock levels.
- Keep store clean and tidy.
- Operate machinery to move, lift, place and remove goods.
**To Be Considered**:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
- Current high-risk forklift licence backed by good forklift work experience.
- Ability to load trucks with structural steel products and assist with tying down of loads.
- Current C class licence while a HC/MC licence will be advantageous.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to organise and work individually and closely with other team members to achieve excellent efficiency.
- Ability to upkeep a safe and neatly organised yard and workshop area.
- Materials handling experience
- Experience in operation heavy forklifts
- 7 tons will be highly advantageous.
