The primary focus of the Marketing Partnerships Lead is to build brand awareness and strengthen the connection of our news brands with our communities and audiences through engagement and partnerships with local events/organisations.

This is a multi-faceted role in where you will be taking the lead in the marketing and business development of key locations. You will be responsible for the ACT, Riverina, and Central Western NSW divisions.

The expectation is that you will travel to the Canberra office 2 days per week and to the other key locations on a regular basis. You will need to schedule your visits around major events, campaigns, and stakeholder availability. Travel to the other areas would settle over time to monthly travel once initial relationships and scoping activity has been established.

You have the ability to be based anywhere between Goulburn and Yass with a strong internet signal. You will be paid for all travel related expenses, including the travel to and from Canberra weekly. A salary package is offered for this role.

Key elements of this role:

- Identify event and sponsorship opportunities
- Campaign creation and development
- Event coordination
- Assist with design and placement of advertising
- Devise and implement a schedule of promotions to encourage reader growth
- Marketing and sales support
- Relationship building with customers
- Create advertising concepts

Required skills:

- Formal marketing qualifications and/or extensive experience in a marketing or events related environment
- Ability to work autonomously and create a successful schedule
- High attention to detail

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
