An exciting opportunity exists for passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Service Technician to join the Miele Professional team in New South Wales on a permanent, full time capacity

**The Position**
This role will provide market-leading support to customers by carrying out commissioning, scheduled maintenance and service repairs at the customer’s premises or in the workshop.

Based out of Eastern Creek, this role is highly autonomous and operates in a leave from home, return to home capacity.

**Responsibilities**
- Connect & Commission Professional Appliances
- Handle and resolve customer complaints in the field within Miele policies and guidelines relevant to the position
- Timely and accurate submission of repair, medical and PMA paperwork.
- Maintain up to date and accurate technical knowledge through diligent and timely use of all service documentation, technical data and appropriate resources
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance at customer sites in accordance with contractual obligations and Miele policies and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with customers’ site and security requirements.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections where necessary liaising with colleagues and customers.
- Liaise with chemical company representatives as required (limited to machine operation).
- Conduct initial user operation training (limited to machine operation) as required.
- Advise customers of and quote on any required repair works not covered by preventative maintenance contract and/or any safety issues.

**What we are looking for**:

- ‘A’ Grade Electrical License or equivalent or, Restricted Electrical License or equivalent a requirement
- Current drivers license a requirement
- An understanding of electrical drawings and schematic diagrams
- Electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Clear and concise communication skills (written and verbal)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Planning and organisational skills
- Self-motivated
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional and positive attitude
- Ability to squat, kneel and twist frequently
- Ability to push and pull varying weights
