**About the role**:
This role will suit an experienced Social Worker. As the leave reliever you will use your broad skill set to deliver care to patients and families in a range of different settings including wards, outpatients and specialized areas. A regular day will see you assess new patients as they are admitted, providing emotional support or counselling, developing and implementing intervention plans, developing discharge plans including working with a range of agencies. In this role you will also have the opportunity to clinically supervise and guide the practice of social workers employed within the social work department, develop health care policy, advocate for patient rights and train other staff. You will have access to internal and external professional training, learning support and supervision to support your growth and career development.

**You must have**:
- A degree in Social Work
