Bioproperties Pty Ltd is an Australian owned animal vaccine manufacturing company located at Glenorie in Sydney’s North-West. The company is significantly increasing its production capacity to continue the supply of existing and new live vaccines to the global market. As we use chickens in our production process, we are looking to expand our team with enthusiastic people.

**Production Technicians - multiple roles available (Location: Glenorie, NSW)**:
**The Role**
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Operating the sterile filling line
- Product labelling
- Product packaging
- Clean room/corridor cleaning
- Filling in GMP paperwork

**Skills & Requirements**
- Willingness to learn Good Manufacturing (GMP) skills
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- High attention to detail
- Flexibility in work hours (when needed, planned)
- High motivation and physical work rate
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Own transport
- No contact with birds or poultry at home

**Reliability Technician (Location: Glenorie, NSW)**:
**The Role**
This is a varied and rewarding position reporting directly to the Reliability and Projects Manager with the primary purpose/functions to:

- Perform inhouse calibrations and document the results for various equipment
- Assist Project team in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Assist Maintenance team with maintenance and repairs of equipment
- Pro-actively transfer skills and knowledge to team members

**Skills & Requirements**
- Trade qualified in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation
- Experience in calibrations
- Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of equipment
- WHS - awareness and compliance
- Be a team player with a positive attitude.
- High communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a flexible working environment
- Own transport
- Desirable: understanding of HACCP and/or GMP procedures
- Desirable: experience in SCADA and PLC systems
- Desirable: disconnecting and reconnecting license

**Animal Attendant / Technician (Location: Glenorie, NSW)**:
**The Role**
Animal Technicians are responsible for all stages of the chicken lifecycle as well as the buildings in which the birds are kept. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Handling of eggs, incubation, and hatching
- Daily monitoring and care of chicks and birds
- Harvesting birds for vaccine production
- Cleaning, decontamination and maintenance of bird houses and equipment
- Detailed record-keeping

**Skills & Requirements**
- Ability to uphold a high standard of animal welfare and care
- Capacity to deal with changing priorities and work pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to cope with the physical demands of the role
- Flexibility in work hours (some weekends and public holidays)
- Own transport
- Poultry experience would be an advantage but not a necessity as all training will be provided
