**The role**:
Opportunities exist for Analysts - Level I to join our team at our Kensington lab. As a Level I Analyst, you will be directly responsible for conducting routine sample preparation and food testing. You will also conduct a wide range of test using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated techniques. If the test is automated you may be required to analyse data and report results.

Your day to day will include but is not limited to:

- Preparing Microbiological media and standards
- Performing basic testing and sample preparation, utilising aseptic technique
- Assisting with writing and reviewing documentation such as laboratory methods and standard operating procedures
- Coordinating with internal clients
- Performing basic calibrations

**What’s needed?**

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:

- Experience in Instrumental techniques is essential
- Experience in Labware/LIMS (Desirable)
- Understanding the principles of tests conducted
- The ability to be an effective trainer
- Laboratory experience preferably in food testing

Safety is an absolute. Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.
