Mathematics / Science Teacher

**Role Description/Criteria**

**The Position**

You will be responsible for teaching Year 11 General Mathematics, as well as Mathematics and Science to students from Year 7 through Year 10, including a specialised Year 10 science/chemistry class.

**About You**

To be successful in this position, it is essential that you have:

- Current Teaching Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
- Proven expertise and knowledge in teaching mathematics and science including VCE General Mathematics
- A demonstrated understanding and appreciation of principles and practices of student learning strategies and styles
- Excellent communication skills to a range of audiences
- A collaborative approach with colleagues in planning and delivering curriculum
- Proven experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students, staff and parents.
