Deli Assistant/cashier

**About the Role**:
As a Deli Assistant, you’ll be responsible for preparing fresh food, slicing meats and cheeses, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly, efficient service to our customers at the deli counter.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and presenting deli items such as cold meats, salads, and ready-to-eat meals
- Operating slicing machines and food preparation equipment safely
- Serving customers with a smile and offering product recommendations
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness
- Assisting with stock rotation, labelling, and merchandising

- Prior experience working in a deli, café, or food service environment
- Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented attitude
- A focus on food safety and cleanliness
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Reliability and a good work ethic

Pay: $23.23 - $34.60 per hour
