As a Baker at Boulangerie 113, you will be an essential part of our baking team, responsible for crafting a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods. You will ensure our products are consistently top-notch and maintain the cleanliness and safety of our workspace. Your creativity and attention to detail will shine as you help us develop new recipes and perfect existing ones.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and bake a diverse range of bread, pastries, and desserts.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the bakery before starting production.
- Verify the quality of raw ingredients, measure accurately, and mix them appropriately.
- Knead, shape, and mold dough and pastry items to perfection.
- Oversee baking processes, adjusting oven temperatures and times as needed.
- Manage the stages of baking, including loading, baking, unloading, and cooling products.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and dough cutters.
- Clean and prepare baking trays, tins, and other tools for the next use.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Keen attention to detail and creative flair.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Physical stamina to meet the demands of the job.
- Certification from a culinary school is advantageous.
