The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_ What you’ll be doing_**

The purpose of the role is to implement the NSW Cancer Plan strategy evaluation to assess achievement of plan goals and target outcomes and use this, in combination with stakeholder engagement, emerging trends and evidence, to develop the next NSW Cancer Plan.

**Remuneration/Benefits**

In addition to base salary:

- 11.5% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)

**_Essential requirements_**
- Graduate qualifications in Public Health or in a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
- Demonstrated achievements in implementing evaluation frameworks and methodologies, (including tool design, analysing qualitative and quantitative data and reporting), preferably of system wide health plans or complex programs.
- Proven ability to use analytical, evaluation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to form recommendations and solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, preferably in a system wide or government context.
- Proven high level oral and written communication, interpersonal, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to produce accessible and engaging outputs such as documents, reports and presentations.
