**Materials Technician**

Hanson is seeking to appoint a materials technician at their NATA-accredited laboratory located at our Redhill laboratory.

The successful applicant will have an impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated and enthusiastic, risk-aware, and safety-driven.

**In your new role, you will**:

- Perform quarry materials testing
- Aggregate & Soil
- Carry out equipment checks and calibrations
- Ensure Laboratory NATA requirements are maintained
- Daily use of computers and Laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
- Assist the technical team

**This role is a great fit if you**:

- Display excellent Health and Safety behaviours
- Are physically fit
- Have strong literacy and numeracy skills (written and verbal)
- Hold a current driver's license
- Are available to work weekends and overtime (when required)
- Maintain a professional work ethic
- Have previous experience as a laboratory technician (CMT preferred but not essential)
- Hold a Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques (preferred but not essential)
- Display an ability to take ownership and manage your own area of responsibility without close supervision
- Are customer-focused and have an excellent to detail
