**Casual Junior Role - Boutique Beauty Salon (City West)**
- Spray Tanning & Salon Assistant_

We are a small, well-established beauty salon located in City West, offering lashes, spray tanning, brows, and makeup services. We’re currently looking for a junior team member to join us for 10-12 hours per week.

**About the Role**

This is a casual role ideal for someone currently studying either high school, beauty therapy or tertiary studies. Shifts are mostly in the afternoon and evenings, with Thursday evening being the primary regular shift each week and occasional Saturdays. Additional hours may be available depending on your availability, especially during school holidays and over the Christmas period.

We’re located directly across from City West train station and can also provide staff parking if needed.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide our unisex spray tan service to clients (training provided)
- Support qualified beauticians with selected minor lash (tint) and brow services over time
- General salon duties including reception, cleaning, hygiene, stock, and admin
- Use our online booking system for check-ins, rebookings, and client management
- Creating social media content
- Optional: If you hold a driver’s licence, there is scope to take on more of the Personal Assistant role to the Director which includes assist with occasional errands (e.g. post office, stock pickup, laundry) Please note if this is of interest to you.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Excellent English and communication skills
- Strong computer skills and confidence using digital tools
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow systems
- Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn
- Neat and professional presentation

Experience in beauty, spray tanning, Microsoft excel or social media is highly regarded but not essential. Training is provided.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour according to age - above award rates.

Bonus of 30% of retail sales in addition to hourly rates

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
