**Dunneworthy Pastoral** is a family-owned farming enterprise located north of Ararat in Western Victoria. With a commitment to quality, sustainability, and teamwork, we take pride in producing premium livestock and crops while fostering a supportive and positive work environment. Our mixed-farming operation has a 2,000 hectares cropping enterprise, producing canola, milling oats, barley, and high-quality hay and silage to support our livestock business. We run a large Angus herd supplying the EU feeder market, alongside a 150-cow Angus stud and manage a self-replacing Merino flock producing fine 19-micron wool and first-cross lambs.

**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will play a key role in the day to day operations of the farm including crop production, livestock handling, machinery operation, and general farm maintenance.

More specifically, you will:

- Operate and maintain modern farm machinery.
- Perform pre-start checks, greasing, and routine servicing to keep equipment in top condition.
- Assist with cropping activities, including planting, harvesting, and pasture management.
- Support livestock management, including feeding, watering, and general animal care.
- Conduct fencing, yard work, and general farm maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of farm inputs and maintenance activities.

**About You**

You will share our commitment and drive to improve farming outcomes and enjoy being part of a small team. In addition, you will bring:

- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar on farm role.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a hands-on environment.
- A positive attitude, time management and ability to problem solve.
- Both a team focus and ability to work independently.
- A commitment to farm safety and animal health.
- A current driver’s license (HC licence is desirable but not essential)
- Chemical User Certification or similar training (advantageous but not required).
