Join the Gymnastics Victoria Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) High Performance Program provides talented athletes with a pathway to train toward representing Victoria and Australia in competitive gymnastics.

Based at the State Gymnastics Centre, the High Performance Program collaborates with clubs across Victoria to deliver advanced training opportunities for athletes while maintaining their club affiliation. Entry is through a selection process, including an assessment, a meeting with the Head Coach, and a formal offer.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic**:

- Provide exceptional coaching for a squad of gymnasts aiming for State and National team selection.
- Implement training programs aligned with squad needs and athlete goals, as directed by the Program Head Coach.
- Lead and coach the MAG State Development Squads with excellence and dedication.
- Proactively pursue opportunities to represent Victoria in MAG gymnastics.

**Stakeholder Engagement and Relationships**:

- Gymnastics Victoria MAG HPP athletes.
- Parents of athletes in the MAG HPP program.
- Victorian gymnastics clubs and technical members involved in competitive MAG programs.
- Gymnastics Australia HP MAG staff and other relevant team members.
- Skilled in collaborating within a high-performing team environment.

**Operational and Administrative**:

- Support the Head Coach in developing and implementing athlete performance plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams and SharePoint.
- Committed to fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Holds a current Workplace First Aid certification.
- Possesses a valid Working with Children Check.

**Values Alignment, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience**:

- Essential: Minimum age of 18, current Technical Member of Gymnastics Australia, Advanced Silver coaching accreditation, extensive knowledge and experience working within gymnastics, First Aid and CPR qualification, exceptional interpersonal, relationship building, and communication skills. Working with Children Check, and willingness to obtain necessary checks.
- Preferred: Experience leading and motivating diverse teams, judging accreditation, sport or business tertiary qualification.

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 38 per week
