**Job Description**:
**The role**

We are looking for an experienced Domestic Distribution Planner to join our Global Logistics division based in Penfield. Working day shift Monday to Friday, your role is essential for domestic allocations through effectively processing orders and delivering the schedule of all outbound loads.

Experience job satisfaction through providing exceptional customer service via effective communication and meeting deadlines.

**As the Domestic Distribution Planner, you will**:

- Competently release customer orders based on market segments
- Plan, schedule and allocate routes to deliver orders in a cost-effective manner
- Liaise with the team regularly relating to orders being processed and delivered
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication
- Maintain a high standard of data entry and record keeping

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Prior experience in a similar role within the transport/logistics industry
- Warehouse management experience - advantageous
- Capability to plan and schedule to meet customer requirements
- Data Analysis and Continuous improvement experience
- The ability to communication effectively with all levels of management
- Intermediate MS Office skills: Word and Excel
