We are looking for a reliable and dedicated person to join a small business located in Tingalpa. As an embroidery machine operator, you will be an integral part of our team. Your responsibilities will include setting up embroidery machines, selecting pertinent tools and materials, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring that all projects are completed to clients' specifications.

The successful applicant will have a good eye for detail, the ability to keep track of multiple work orders and a willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities
- Operation of Embroidery Machines - Onsite training available
- Ability to follow instructions and to make recommendations when necessary
- Selecting the thread, fabric, hoops, and designs appropriate to each project.
- Receiving goods
- Lifting and moving stock
- Embroidery and Sewing
- Packing and despatch of garments
- Keeping track of work orders and updating records.
- Basic maintenance of machines
- Maintaining the Thread stock levels

Personal requirements
- Education to Year 12 or life experience
- Completion of a course in design or similar would be advantageous
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willing to learn all aspects of the business
- Computer skills and willing to learn embroidery software
- Sewing experience is an advantage - Onsite training is available
- Ability to work as a team member
- Multi-tasking skills required to be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to read and understand instructional manuals.

Great customer service and communication skills.

**Salary**: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
