The Montrose Veterinary Centre is seeking a friendly, organised, and compassionate **Veterinary Receptionist** to join our dynamic team If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love helping both pets and their owners, we want to meet you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Warmly greet clients and their pets upon arrival
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
- Address client enquiries and provide accurate information on our services
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and managing patient files
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and presentable at all times
- Communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow
- Provide compassionate care and assistance to clients during emotionally sensitive situations

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience in customer service or as a receptionist (experience in a veterinary clinic is a plus but not essential)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information
