Trainer & Assessor - Aviation Transport Security

ACESGroup is proud to support the launch of **Western Sydney's new international airport**, and we’re looking for an experienced and passionate **Trainer/Assessor** to help lead the next generation of aviation security professionals.

This is a rare chance to be part of something new — shaping training programs and delivering nationally accredited security courses at a **major new transport hub**. Based at the airport site, with flexible work arrangements available, you’ll play a frontline role in building capability, safety, and service standards from the ground up.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the RTO Manager and working closely with the operational and recruitment teams, you will:

- Deliver and assess **Certificate II in Transport Security Protection**, site familiarity and Induction training, ongoing On the Job Training and a range of role specific inductions/accreditation assessments.
- Train new aviation security personnel for passenger screening, terminal patrol, Vehicle patrol, gatehouse roles and more.
- Facilitate in-person, online and hybrid assessments whilst providing one-on-one support to learners.
- Track student progression and provide guidance throughout the learning journey.
- Assist with course content updates, industry compliance, and national delivery standards.
- Facilitate training onsite and in our Redfern Training Rooms.
- Play an active role in professional development, validation, and RTO compliance activities

**What You’ll Need**
- **TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment** (or willingness to obtain)
- **AVI20118 - Certificate II in Transport Security Protection**, or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years’ experience in aviation security (with strong operational knowledge)
- Proven ability to train, coach and support learners in both face-to-face and online settings
- Current or eligible **ASIC**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders

**Desirable**
- Certificate II or III in Security Operations
- Experience using online LMS platforms
