Catering Staff

As a catering assistant, the employee is expected to be responsible for catering at events. The employee holds responsibility to ensure our clients and their guests receive exceptional service at their events. Tasks at events include driving our vehicles and trailers, setting up our ovens at the venue, making and cooking fresh pizza onsite, satisfy customer and client needs and clean equipment.

This role will also include other kitchen and warehouse duties, as well as sales/marketing tasks. The employee is expected to be responsible for the cleanliness and functionality of the kitchen and warehouse. Tasks are in place to ensure that all events are well prepared for and that the kitchen is organised and clean. Tasks include (but not limited to) preparation of pizza ingredients, packing food for events, cleaning, salad preparation, ensuring vehicles are maintained, equipment is clean etc.

The employee is always to take initiative and responsibility to ensure work is completed at its best capacity within appropriate times/time frames.

**Reports to**

The employee will report to the warehouse manager mainly, and at times the sales manager. Reviews & KPI’s will be recorded and used to determine the performance of the employee. Meetings will be scheduled to ensure work is being performed at a satisfactory level.

**Hours**:Must be available to work weekends.

**Requirements**:
The employee is preferred to have their driving licence. The employee will also need to meet the requirements of any traineeship programs advised.

**Salary**: $27.69 - $31.50 per hour
