We are a family-owned and operated childcare center located in the suburb of Epping, NSW. Our childcare is a purpose-built centre focused on creating a warm, safe and friendly environment for our children and families. We are currently looking for a trainee to join our team of experienced educators, to work with children aged 1-6 years of age.

We are looking for an energetic individual with a passion for supporting the development of young children. This traineeship involves gaining a recognised qualification in the childcare industry while getting hands-on experience and an above-award wage.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Studying while working to obtain a certificate III
- Learning from the senior staff
- Creating fun and stimulating learning opportunities for the children
- Supervising children
- Sharing cleaning duties with other staff

Skills and experience:

- A strong passion to care for and support the development of young children
- No previous qualifications in the childcare industry are needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be a team player
- A Working with Children Check, or willing to obtain
- A first aid certificate, or willingness to obtain

**Salary**: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
