Key Responsibilities

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of small to medium sized projects and have a passion for (Eco)Toxicology and/or Risk Assessment while also being able to do the following:

- You will carry out technical tasks which will require accuracy in data analysis and data management
- With the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, work in the following areas is expected; providing advice on the human and/or environmental health risks of chemical exposures which includes problem identification, hazard assessment, exposure assessment, and risk characterisation
- High quality report writing and ability to critically review literature
- Good communication skills to enable communicating the results and implications of reports/investigations to clients, both internally and externally
- As well as delivering projects your role would include business development and leveraging your existing networks to bring your own project work into the team
- Actively participate and assist in steering the direction of the Toxicology & Risk Assessment’s team annual strategic business plan

**Skills and experience**
- A relevant Bachelor degree (ideally in Toxicology, Ecotoxicology, Pharmacology, Applied Science, or Environmental Science, but other degrees may also be appropriate)
- A Masters or PhD in an area of relevance to the role
- We are open to the level of person we are seeking and so someone with 10+ years’ experience will be considered for this position
- (Eco)Toxicology/Risk Assessment experience within either a consulting or government organisation with proven ability to lead and win work
- Attention to detail with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
