Production Planner

Our client is a well established Australian family owned business located in Dingley Village.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing incoming orders from the sales team.
- Generating manufacturing orders for the majority of processed orders.
- Verifying completion of manufacturing orders and ensuring accurate stock records in the system.
- Developing instructions for made-to-order (MTO) items.
- Confirming availability of all necessary parts for order fulfillment.
- Prioritizing and scheduling job orders based on urgency and parts availability.
- Conducting quality assessments of goods before dispatch.
- Acting as a liaison between sales and production teams, facilitating communication and coordination.
- Coordinating with suppliers to expedite part procurement and minimize lead times.
- Assisting with freight management when necessary.
- Providing customer support as needed, including updates on estimated time of arrivals (ETAs).
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous and organised.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using the computer, Excel spreadsheets, etc.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Production planning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Engineering Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Dingley, VIC (preferred)
