As a Barista All-Rounder, you'll embark on an exciting journey of creating delicious beverages, providing top-notch customer service, and ensuring the ultimate coffee experience for our amazing customers.

We are on the hunt for casual Barista All-Rounder, who is enthusiastic, customer focused and self motivated, with a high level of integrity. The crew here at Kirkwood are hands on, with a focus on delivering “old school” customer service to the local community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce consistently delicious, specialty coffee
- Knowledge and capability to adjust grinder, dial in machine, understand extraction and execute great milk texture, in a timely manner
- Establish and maintain relationships with our community of customers
- Greet customers with enthusiasm and a smile
- Assist with opening and closing of store
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, high-volume store
- Problem solve and trouble shoot equipment workings, when required
- Maintain an orderly and clean workspace, including following section cleaning/refill procedures
- Ensure appealing product / packaging presentation
- Assist manager and team makes with daily duties
- Actively promote menu with understanding
- Understand and employ a high standard of food safety hygiene practices
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations when working within the deli/kitchen area

**Position Requirements and Desirable Personal Attributes**:

- Have a GREAT attitude, with a willingness to learn
- Be honest, punctual, professional and adaptable to a growing business
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, whist maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Able to remain cool and collected, with a smile and good vibes when under pressure
- Minimum 2 years of industry relevant experience
- Previous experience working in a Continental Deli is preferred

This is a casual position, with possibility of being perm part time in the future.

The successful applicant will be required to work early mornings shifts and afternoon, weekend and public holiday shifts. The applicant must reside in Australia and have an appropriate working visa (if necessary) to work in Australia.
