Autobarn North Geelong is a leading automotive spare parts and accessories retailer. Autobarn North Geelong, a well-established retailing business for the past 26 years is seeking a full time **Assistant Retail Manager** This is a permanent full-time, long term career opportunity for a Manager to join our successful busy team. We have an already well established customer base, and we are looking for a motivated & energetic **Assistant Retail Manager** to help grow this business even further.
- To be successful, you will need to : _
- Be a team leader and mentor and motivate the sales team_
- Assist the Store Manager in daily routines_
- Help drive sales & the sales floor_
- Have completed sales training course_
- Have an ambitious and energetic approach_
- Have the ability to use initiative and prioritize workload_
- Provide excellent customer service_
- Be involved in Stock management_
- Be able to handle conflict_
- Resolve customer problems_
- Provide expert advice_
- Maintain high standards of store presentation_
- Have a current police check_

We are looking for a motivated **Assistant Retail Manager** to bring with them their expert retail management experience. A willingness to learn and work in a team environment is vital. Excellent communication skills, combined with a passion to deliver great customer service is essential.

The successful applicant will have a neat and tidy appearance and a happy disposition, along with a good work ethic.

Whilst not essential, a passion for motor vehicles and knowledge of the automotive industry would be advantageous A successful career in other retail management would also be looked upon favorably.

A rotating 5 day a week roster applies which involves weekend work 2 on 1 off.
