Marvellous Mother’s Helper in Alderley

Nanny Start Date: Immediate Start

Pay Rate: $50 per hour (Weekdays) / $80 per hour (Weekend’s)

Contract type: ABN with invoice

Days/ Hours:Looking for a long term commitment of 1-2 years

Monday 9am-6pm

Tuesday 3 or 4pm to 7pm or 8pm(4 hours total)

Thursday 4pm-7pm

Saturday 7:30am
- 6:30pm (fortnightly)

Sunday 8 or 9am to 6pm

About the Family:
This lively family is made up of a single mother and her four children, all under 4 years old. In their family time they enjoy attending local events, engaging in fun activities like visiting the play centre’s, day trips to nearby islands, zoo’s, water parks, and messy/ nature play sessions. The children are 3.5 years, 2 years, and 9-month-old twins. While they attend daycare Monday to Friday, the mother frequently takes them to medical appointments or on day trips and needs an extra pair of hands for support. The children's medical conditions include autism, ARFID, laryngomalacia, and middle ear dysfunction. Despite these challenges, they thrive in activities like gymnastics, swimming lessons, playgroups, and park visits throughout the week. The family is also home to two friendly pet cats

What we are looking for:
**Tasks**:
Assisting mother with all children - this will include:

- Ensuring safe transfer of children to day care bus in the family home driveway. Bus times: 7am-8am /4pm-6pm
- Following routines - Supervising and playing with children, following sleep, eating and bath time routines.
- Sole care of the children if mother has to go to an appointment/ errand to run or attending appointments with whole family.
- Packing daycare bags: bottle and formula prep, packing kids lunchboxes, nappies and essentials
- Activities:

- Friday: Swimming (oldest children currently attending, twins will begin lessons next year)
- Saturday: gymnastics class (all children)
- Fun outings and daytrips: playgroup, library visits, park plays, craft workshops, days out at theme parks, islands, local zoo’s, cafes and events with the children

Household tasks:

- Washing/ putting dishes away, sterilising baby bottles
- Laundry assistance: washing whole family laundry, fold and put away kids clothes (Mum will do her own folding etc)
- Assisting with children’s meals prep
- cooking simple meals and preparing freezer stash/ snacks.
- General tidy up after children activities and meals including vacuum and mopping on occasion
- Tidying of children bedrooms with kid’sinvolvement.

Transport:
No vehicle required but licence would be an advantage.

Must have:

- Blue card
- Drivers Licence (preferred)
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- 2 x Reference checks
- ABN

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 37 per week
