The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Divisional Procurement Advisor to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide influential procurement and commercial advice to executive and senior management
- Support the Divisional Procurement and Category Manager to develop annual divisional procurement plans
- Develop an appropriate pipeline of sourcing activity for assigned divisions that is aligned to divisional priorities
- Establish clear project plans for key initiatives, manage, review and report on project performance
- Lead and drive, multiple, division wide projects, making effective use of individual and team capabilities to deliver projects
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- While not mandatory, it is expected that applicants will have at least five years of relevant procurement experience including significant sourcing and contract management experience. The combination of relevant commercial and government procurement experience would be highly regarded
- While not mandatory, a relevant academic qualification and/or membership of a professional procurement body would also be highly regarded
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $108 936 - $116 690 per annum

The Strategic Procurement team supports key divisions within Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service to help maximise the use of resources to enable delivery of the best quality of care to our community. This includes providing expertise and advice to the organisation to achieve best value for money, leveraging State-wide buying power to minimise costs and driving supplier innovation and considering the impact to our local community through our procurement decision making. Based in Southport.
