**About Your Role: Work Package Manager**

Our Underwater System team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Work Package Manager **to join our team in a full-time permanent position based on-site at Rydalmere. This role will provide support to the Towed Array Production team as well providing supporting the Project Management teams.

**As a Work Package Manager, you will be responsible for**:

- Developing, maintaining and reporting on production and repair schedules
- Maintaining Primavera baselines and providing schedule updates
- Monitoring and auditing of Inventory levels to ensure on time delivery of Work Orders
- Promote continuous improvement on security, safety, quality, cost, delivery and team
- Developing positive working relationships with other Thales support functions
- Co-ordinating solutions for product and process non-conformances
- Supporting the project management function with Bids, quotations, budgets, etc.
- Supporting structured problem-solving teams and workshops

**Skills, Qualifications & Experience**:
We are looking for a switched-on and confident person to be an integral part of our team, who’s not afraid to engage with people at all levels.
- A bachelor's degree in project management, engineering or similar
- Previous experience in a similar role in a production or engineering field
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated combination of technical and leadership skills
- Demonstratable problem solving skills
- Good initiative, self-management and planning skills.
- Strong customer focus and external relationship management
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
