**The Role**
The Electrical Draftsperson will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams of electrical systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of all electrical drawings. This role will specialize in creating in-depth wiring diagrams used to install and repair electrical power generation systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- The preparation of quality drawings in accordance with client design and specification information.
- Create accurate, detailed technical plans for electrical systems using CAD programs to convert specifications and design information from the engineering team into schematics and blueprints.
- Collect, study and combine rough sketches into technical drafts.
- Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams for electrical equipment, power generation and substations according to project specifications.
- Check that final technical drafts include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format and verify that calculations are accurate.
- Review technical drafts from the engineering team and clients.
- Participate in the design process and creating rough sketches and diagrams of electrical wiring and systems.
- Assist the engineering team as needed in preparing technical documents and presentation slides.

**About You**
- Associate degree in drafting or CAD, or 2+ years of electrical and instrument drafting work experience.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of electrical circuitry and design.
- Great organizational and time-management skills with the ability to produce accurate deliverables within deadlines.
- Well developed communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Sound understanding of statutory and industry standards.
- Understanding of the QA and OSHE requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
