We are looking for a remarkable Second in Charge (2IC) to join our Service in Amaroo, ACT on a permanent part-time basis, Monday to Friday, 32 hours per week

**About the Role**:

- Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences at before and after school care
- Support the Director of Service with compliance documentation and parent enquiries
- Engage with the school community in all areas including community engagement
- Play and have FUN with primary school-aged children
- Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program
- Confident interpersonal skills, no matter if you’re talking with a Child, their parent, one of your team or the school principal
- Roster details: Monday to Friday BSC 6:30am to 9am, ASC 2:30pm to 6pm with 2 admin hours each week. Total 32 hours per week.

**About You**:

- You’re passionate about kids and pretty remarkable too
- Good team player with strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
- Previous experience working in Before and After School Care is preferred but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- You’re energetic, enthusiastic and love to have FUN
- Qualified or studying towards a relevant qualification in the Education sector (includes Teaching Degrees, Education Support, Children's Services, Early Childhood Education and more - see ACECQA website if you are unsure if your degree is relevant)
